It was so fun to meet Cassandra, Chris and their beautiful daughter Cayda. They left cooler temps behind and visited their grandparents in sunny AZ. We so appreciate the introduction to this wonderful family from our good friends Gordy & Jan.

Childhood is such an amazing time. In a blink, this sweet girl will grow up. So many dreams ahead of her and adventures she will encounter. I love that I was able to capture sweet photos in her new beginnings in this crazy world.

Love the dichotomy of her laughter next to the spikes of the cactus

This family’s clothing palette of beiges was a nice compliment to the desert landscape. This session was taken in the desert near the McDowell Mountain Preserve. The morning light sun kissed the cholla cactus and they look all a glow in this sweet family portrait.
